B.C.C.U. #2 Academic Foundation offers scholarships to graduating seniors of Unit #2 High School.

About Student Scholarships

The B.C.C.U. #2 Academic Foundation has been entrusted with awarding the following college scholarships to graduating B.C.C.U. #2 High School Seniors:

  • James & Thelma Keaster Scholarship
  • Sara Cunningham Memorial Scholarship
  • Mabel & Roger Riedemann Scholarship
  • Ralph & Audrey Broom Scholarship
  • Dottie Corn Memorial Scholarship
  • Art Bollinger Memorial Scholarship
  • Les & Gini Gaffner Scholarship

Selection criteria vary and amounts range from $500.00 to $10,000.00. Scholarships are awarded during the Senior Awards Night Ceremony each Spring. Application forms and more information are available in the high school guidance office.

The B.C.C.U. #2 Academic Foundation also oversees the Baumberger Aviation Scholarship which is offered to any B.C.C.U. #2 High School student interested in an aviation career. The scholarship pays for a portion of ground and flight school. This advanced training has proven beneficial to those receiving this award as they embark on an aviation career.

The Arlen Parker Memorial Scholarships were first awarded in 2024 by direct funding from the AMP Family Foundation. In Spring 2025, the Academic Foundation received a gift from the AMP Family Foundation of $1,125,000. This money established a fund that is now on year 3 of paying recurring scholarships. There are currently 4 Junior College Scholarships available in the amount of $1250 per semester, for up to 4 semesters. There are also 6 scholarships available for specific areas of study, in the amount of $2500 per year, for up to 4 years: Education, Agriculture, Healthcare, Engineering/STEM, Athletic/Academic, Comet Legacy
